GILBERT, Ariz. - Gilbert fire crews were able to get a three-alarm apartment fire under control at Gilbert and Juniper roads Saturday night.

The apartment complex was under construction. Firefighters say there were no injuries.

It took more than 100 firefighters an hour and a half to contain the fire. Fire officials said about twenty or so occupants of nearby homes were evacuated because carbon monoxide levels were dangerously high.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
