GLENDALE, Ariz. - Glendale police confirmed Thursday that Leslie Merritt Jr. had been arrested Wednesday night for violating a protection order related to domestic violence laws.

According to police, Merritt had been on a victim's property near 67th and Maryland avenues, from which he was prohibited by court order.

He also made threats against the victim, according to police.

He was booked for violating the order and making threats.

Merritt was arrested and charged with four freeway shootings in the summer of 2015. The charges were later dropped and Merritt was released from jail.
