GLENDALE, Ariz. - The FBI Bank Robbery Task Force and Phoenix Police Department are investigating an attempted armed bank robbery at a Wells Fargo in Glendale Friday.
Authorities said it happened around 2:40 p.m. near 35th Avenue and Glendale Avenue.
The FBI said the suspect presented a note indicating it was a bank robbery and that he displayed a gun.
No one was physically injured.
The suspect is not believed to be either of the most recently publicized bandits: the Grimace Bandit or the Fashion Forward Bandit, according to the FBI.
The attempted robbery is still under investigation.
