An excessive heat warning is in effect until Sunday at 9 p.m. with high temperatures between 113 and 120 degrees every day.

A look at the seven-day forecast shows daily records could potentially be tied or broken throughout the week.

The record of 118 was tied Monday.

According to the National Weather Service, the last time Phoenix saw four consecutive days of 115+ days was in 1995 from July 26 to 29.
