If you want to get in the spirit of Day of the Dead or Dia de los Muertos, the Mesa Arts Center is hosting its annual Dia de Los Muertos Festival.

Beginning Saturday, Oct. 22 from 10 a.m. to Sunday, Oct. 23 from noon to 5 p.m., the campus invites the public to celebrate the memory of departed loved ones.

Also, its a free festival with a nonstop schedule of live entertainment, traditional face painting, variety of food options, studio demonstrations and more.

Also, the festival will culminate with a performance and an open procession to the Community Altar led by Mariachi Pasion at 4:45 p.m. on Sunday.

Parking is free and again, there is no charge to attend. Mesa Arts Center is located at 1 E. Main Street in downtown Mesa.
