PEORIA, Ariz. - Deputies arrested a man after they found marijuana plants, heroin and meth in his home.
The Maricopa County Sheriff's Office said deputies were dispatched to a home near 89th Avenue and Deer Valley Road Sunday for a 911 call that a man was asking for help.
Deputies said they discovered a marijuana grow operation and a man sleeping near it in the garage.
The sheriff's office said it then served a search warrant and found 105 grams of heroin, 350 grams of meth and 22 marijuana plants on the property. The drugs have an estimated street value of more than $22,000.
Duane Bearden, 36, admitted to having the marijuana plants, according to deputies. He was arrested and booked into the Fourth Avenue Jail on cultivation of marijuana, possession of marijuana, sale of dangerous drugs, possession of dangerous drugs and weapon misconduct.
