Carlos Sanchez died two days after taking a hit and collapsing during a game on Friday, Oct. 20.
Initial fire department reports said Carlos suffered a seizure while on the field. Teammates said he took a hard hit and got up moments later.
The Arizona Interscholastic Association said Moon Valley followed protocol.
"As far as AIA is concerned, there is nothing to investigate," Joe Paddock, assistant executive director for the AIA, said."It's definitely a school issue that they're covering. They're taking precautions."
The team honored Sanchez Friday in their first game since his death. Sanchez's name and number were prominent all over the field.
