GLENDALE, Ariz. - Four people, including a man, a woman and two teenage girls, were taken to trauma facilities in critical condition after a crash at 59th Avenue and Camelback Road Friday night, according to Phoenix firefighters.

Glendale police said a car and a truck collided head on at the intersection.

Firefighters from the Glendale and Phoenix Fire Departments worked together to free the injured occupants from the wreckage.

Firefighters said the driver of the truck was uninjured and remained on scene.

Glendale and Phoenix police will be conducting an investigation, and the intersection will be closed for the next several hours.
