PHOENIX - Police in Phoenix announced Thursday that they had arrested four people in relation to the Sept. 1 killing of 25-year-old Mario Cholak.

Carl Johnson, 36, Carlos Punnett, 26, Jamal White, 31, and Quincey Edmond, 38, have been arrested and booked on first-degree murder charges among others.

Punnett, White and Edmond were arrested Sept. 29 while Johnson was arrested Wednesday

According to police, Cholak was grabbed from a bar near Cactus Road and State Route 51 around 8 p.m. Sept. 1.

They forced him into the rear office and one of the men shot him, police said. Another man grabbed a second suspect and stole guns and drugs from him before leaving.

Cholak was taken to the hospital but he died just after midnight.
