GLENDALE, Ariz., -- Glendale police are investigating an overnight motorcycle accident that left a 21-year-old woman dead.

Police responded to a single-vehicle accident near 67th and Northern avenues around 12:30 a.m. Saturday.

According to a preliminary investigation, a motorcycle carrying two passengers was traveling southbound on 67th Avenue when it hit a curb.

Both passengers, a man and a young woman, were ejected.

Police said the male driver had serious injuries.

The young woman was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police are investigating whether the man was impaired at the time of the crash.
