PHOENIX -- Two teenagers have died following a serious collision near 59th Avenue and Camelback Road Friday night.

Glendale police said four teenagers were inside a car when it collided with a truck.

Three of them were taken to hospitals.

Saturday morning, Glendale police said a 17-year-old girl and a 16-year-old boy were pronounced dead at the hospital.

A third passenger was seriously injured.

Police said a car and a truck collided head-on at the intersection.

Glendale police said the driver of the truck was detained for possible impairment.

Police are still investigating whether speed or impairment were a factor in the collision.
