Chandler police announced Saturday they are adding 12 new traffic cameras at intersections.
Officials warn the cameras will have to be tested, which will result in drivers getting flashed as they pass through the intersections. The testing phase is necessary to set the cameras, according to authorities. The systems will be active starting on April 1.
The following intersections will have photo enforcement cameras in the next few weeks:
Westbound at Queen Creek and Alma School Road.
Southound at Alma School and Queen Creek Road.
Eastbound at Ray and Alma School Road.
Eastbound at Riggs and South Cooper Road.
Westbound at Riggs and South Cooper Road.
Westbound at Warner and Alma School Road.
Southbound at W. Chandler and N. Kyrene Road.
Eastbound at Ray and Rural Avenue.
Southbound at Arizona Avenue and Ocotillo Road.
Southbound at N. Dobson and W. Ray Road.
Westbound at Ray and N. Dobson Road.
Southbound at N. McClintock Drive and W. Ray Road.
Eastbound at W. Ray Road and N. McClintock Road.
Westbound at W. Chandler Boulevard at N. Dobson Road.
Southbound at Alma School Road and Warner Road.
Southbound at N. Arizona Avenue and Ray Road.
