Recreation and Athletics for Individuals With Disabilities (RAD) is a non-profit group based in Chandler that raises funds to pay fees associated with Special Olympics sports and competitions for people with disabilities.

They work closely with the City of Chandler's Therapeutic Recreation program that trains the city's Special Olympics athletes and pays the registration fees charged by the city for any person who wishes to participate. They have also paid for uniforms, equipment and transportation costs. RAD also sponsors social events such as dances, swim parties and movie nights at local theaters. RAD hopes to enhance the quality of life for the members of the community who live with physical, mental, or social limitations by giving them access to appropriate athletic and recreational activities.
