The Leonid Meteor Shower is going on all month long, but it's reaching its peak this weekend, particularly Friday night into Saturday morning.

Arizona has at least three dark sky communities (Flagstaff, Oak Creek and Sedona) where you should be able to get a good look at the shower, which should produce up to 20 meteors per hour.

There's only one problem, which was apparent if you looked to the skies across the Phoenix area Friday: it's been overcast.

But according to the National Weather Service, that cloud cover should clear the area around midnight Friday, making for good viewing until sunrise.

So if you're interested in watching tonight's shower, you'll have to wait for the show.

According to AccuWeather, Arizona should get a decent look at the shower, but not one of the best in the country.
