SEDONA, Ariz. - The Sedona Fire District said two suspects are in custody after more than 20 fires were set across three different locations, including a school and a park, Sunday morning.

Firefighters responded to a trash can fire at an elementary school around 6 a.m. and noticed multiple fires burning, Sedona FD said.

Investigators determined 25 fires burned across three locations. Fire officials said seven fires were ignited at West Sedona Elementary School, six fires were set at The Sedona Posse Grounds Hub and 12 fires were set at Posse Grounds Park.

Sedona FD Fire Marshal Jon Davis said most the fires were small, with the exception of one that was set inside lockers along an exterior wall at the school. The fire did extend into the wall, but not inside the adjacent classroom.

Fire officials said there is no ongoing public threat.
