Using Sky 12 footage and fire information from forest officials, 12 News has created a map in hopes of helping people in the Valley and those forced to evacuate a way to know where the fire is burning.

Incident Commander John Pierson confirmed Wednesday that some structures have been lost, but no count has been reported.

BIG STORY: Goodwin Fire updates

From official fire maps, it appears that the fire line reached the northern edge of Pine Flat and Sky 12 found a few of those buildings have been destroyed. The fire map shows the fire snakes through other structures in the Pine Flat community.

Mayer appears to be unscathed, according to fire maps.

The fire jumped Highway 69 north of Mayer and fire maps show the fire lines near a valley on the east side of the highway. There is no real way of knowing if any structures have burned in that area, but maps show homes do exist there.

Firefighters are worried about Poland Junction just northwest of Mayer. The way the fire is moving and winds are blowing, it could be in it’s path.
