WENDEN, Ariz. - The La Paz County Sheriff's Office says a man is custody and facing charges of bestiality after a family reported catching him “committing a sexual act” with their goat.

According to the sheriff’s office, the incident happened early in the morning on Saturday. A family in Wenden, Arizona, who officials say will remain nameless, walked outside of their home and allegedly saw Roberto Lajpop-Mateo having sexual intercourse with a goat.

The Sheriff’s Office said Lajpop-Mateo was initially wanted for trespassing and the alleged sexual act.

Lajpop-Mateo was eventually arrested and is scheduled for his initial appearance in court on Monday.
