For those looking to get their Christmas tree straight from the wilderness this year, your chance is almost here.

Starting Nov. 16, the Kaibab National Forest will offer Christmas tree permits to those interested.

The $15 permit allows the holder to cut a tree of any species that is not more than 10 feet in height within a designated area from Nov. 16 through Dec. 24.

Those interested in a permit will have to be quick. You can get the permits over the counter and through the mail, but they'll be available on a first-come, first-served basis until they are sold out.
