Rep. Martha McSally officially announced she will run for the U.S. Senate Friday morning.

The retired United States Air Force colonel and current U.S. House representative from Arizona's 2nd Congressional District announced the news in a video posted online where, in the words of Team 12's Brahm Resnik, she went "full fighter jock."

"Like our president, I'm tired of PC politicians. I told Washington Republicans to grow a pair of ovaries and get the job done," McSally said in the video.

McSally joins Joe Arpaio, who announced his run earlier this week, and others vying for the U.S. Senate seat being vacated by retiring Sen. Jeff Flake.
