APS lineman buys bike for boy while in Puerto Rico

The power of human kindness in action.

Linemen from Arizona Public Service are doing more than just restoring the power in Puerto Rico.

They're bringing fun and smiles back to the kids in the community.

APS shared photos of an interaction between lineman Gareth Dihel and a young boy.

According to the Facebook post, the boy was being left out of the fun with the other neighborhood kids because he didn't have a bike.

When Dihel heard about it, he went out to a local store and bought a new ride for the boy.

In the photo, the boy's smile is ear-to-ear as he receives his new gift.

This isn't the only time APS has brought joy to Puerto Ricans lately. In January, APS shared a video capturing captures a neighborhood's reaction to their electricity being restored after months of being without power.
