TUCSON, Ariz. - Luke Air Force Base may be the source of the loud booms reported near Tucson, officials said Thursday.

Air Force officials previously said areas around Luke Air Force Base and the Barry M. Goldwater Range complex will have increased air activity for the next two weeks. The areas were expected to experience higher levels of noise.
