TEMPE, Ariz. (AP) - Police have released the names of a man and teenage boy who were found fatally shot inside a car in a Tempe apartment complex parking lot.

They say the victims are 20-year-old DeSean Estrada and 16-year-old Kayon Williams.

Police say one victim was in the driver's seat and the other in the front passenger seat.

They say the shooting doesn't appear to be a random act of violence and no suspect or suspects have been identified.

Tempe Union High School District officials said Thursday that Williams was a junior at McClintock High School and "was well liked by everyone who knew him."

Police say officers responding to a call about gunfire around 11:15 p.m. Thursday found the victims in the car that had its engine still running.

Tempe police is asking the public to come forward with any information related to Estrada’s and Williams’ death. If anyone witnessed the incident or has information, contact the Tempe PD at 480-350-8311, or Silent Witness at 480-948-6377.
