Man at Apache Junction bar sexually assaulted woman, police say

He drove her to a desert area and sexually assaulted her, police said.

A man who offered to give a woman a ride home from an Apache Junction bar sexually assaulted her last month, according to police.

The Apache Junction Police Department is searching for him.

A release Tuesday said that a man reported his girlfriend had been sexually assaulted around 4:30 a.m. Jan. 28.

She told him that she was at Lucky Strikes bar in Apache Junction and a man who identified himself only as "Brandon" offered to give her a ride home. He drove her to a desert area and sexually assaulted her, police said. After the assault, he dropped her off at her home.

She came into the home distraught and told her boyfriend what happened. He went outside and saw a man in a newer model white Dodge pickup speeding off.

Build: Little muscular and chubby

Distinguishing feature: Straight teeth

Age: Approximately 32 – 38 (under 40)

Height: Approximately 5’7” – 5’10”

Weight: Approximately 185

Skin Tone: Tan

Eye Color: Unknown

Hair Color: Brown

Hair: Straight, top longer than sides. Sides not shaved or shaggy

Tattoos: None observed

Language/Accent: English with no accent
