CHANDLER, Ariz. - Police have released a sketch of a suspect accused of sexually assaulting a 12-year-old girl in August 2014.

According to Chandler police, the girl told a health care professional about the assault in June of this year, leading the Chandler Police Department's Special Victim's Unit to investigate.

A release from police said the assault happened outside Basha Library, when the man walked the victim to an older-model white four-door sedan and sexually assaulted her inside.

Police said the man is between 18 and 25 years old. He's taller than 5-foot-8 with darker skin and was wearing a flannel shirt, baggy jeans and tennis shoes at the time of the assault.
