MESA, Ariz. — Authorities are trying to locate a man who’s suspected of pointing a gun at a female driver and threatening to kill her during a road-rage incident in Mesa last year.

Arizona Department of Public Safety officials said 23-year-old Michael Floris was driving on U.S. 60 in Mesa on July 11 when he allegedly pulled out a handgun and aimed it at a woman who was driving next to him.

They said Floris followed the woman when she exited the highway and stopped his car in front of hers.

Floris then exited his vehicle and approached the female driver while allegedly pointing a gun and threatening to kill her.

The woman filmed the incident and provided video to authorities who were later able to identify Floris.

A warrant was issued last month for Floris’ arrest on charges of assault, aggravated assault and disorderly conduct.

Authorities believe Floris is living somewhere in southern California, but he has ties to the Phoenix and Las Vegas areas.
