A spin-out during a monthly car show nearly turned deadly Saturday after the driver of a Ford Mustang lost control and crashed into a curb, inches away from dozens of spectators in Houston, Texas.
Video of the ordeal posted to YouTube recorded the incident as the crowd ducked for cover and the driver got out of the car.
"We don't condone it at all," said Tony Gonzales, one of the organizers for Houston Coffee and Cars.
"Spinning his tires. He spun and nearly hit some children," Gonzales continued.
Houston police responded quickly because Coffee and Cars has officers present at the event.
In the video, an officer can be seen controlling the crowd and attempting to keep them away from the wrecked car. Another officer can be seen with the driver, checking his identification.
