2 1/2 cups whole wheat flour

1 egg

1 teaspoon all beef or chicken bouillon

1/2 cup hot water

1/2 cup oats

1/2 cup crisp bacon, chopped fine


Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Using an electric mixer, blend together ingredients. If too soft, after a little more flour until dough comes together in a ball. On a floured surface, roll out dough to desired width. Cut out designs with cookie cutters. Place biscuits on baking sheet and cook for about 20 minutes or until golden brown. Makes about 1 dozen 3 inch biscuits
