GLENDALE, Ariz. - Valley Black Friday shoppers lined up in front of Cabela's in Glendale, eager to get their holiday shopping started early.
Around 1,000 people waited in line. The store offered the first 600 people gift cards.
The store's doors opened at 5 a.m. on Friday.
The first couple in line has been camped out since Tuesday. Many others have been here since Thursday.
Some shoppers even said they ate their turkey dinners in line.
Meanwhile, Toys R Us opened at 5 p.m. Thanksgiving evening and stayed open through the night.
Toys R Us managers tell us Paw Patrol toys, the Chuckle Ball, the NERF Incisor and drones have been very popular this year.
But the toy every kid wants under their tree in 2016 is the infamous Hatchimal, which most stores are sold out of.
